Six options sit behind What to Change. Remove Background People takes out the people standing behind your subject and rebuilds the space they occupied. Remove Text or Watermark strips captions, logos and watermarks and reconstructs the surface underneath with no ghosting. Replace the Sky swaps in a new sky matched to the scene's light direction and colour temperature, with reflections updated. Add Rain and Add Snow put weather into the shot. Custom Edit hands the instruction over to you — describe the change yourself in the Details field.

No, and that is deliberate. There is no duration control: the edit always returns a clip exactly as long as the one you upload. Your source has to be 4 to 15 seconds, and the uploader's trimmer is on by default so you can cut it down in the browser. Trimming to the section you actually need is the only way to control the output length — and it lowers the cost at the same time.

1 credit is 1 US cent of provider cost, rounded up. The endpoint bills the input clip plus the output, and the output always matches the input length, so you pay for the clip twice over: 22 credits per second of clip on each side at 720p, 11 at 480p. A 5-second clip at 720p is 220 credits, 10 seconds is 440 and 15 seconds is 660; that same 5-second clip at 480p is 110. This is why trimming first genuinely saves money. The exact cost is shown before you generate.

Name it the way you would point at it: the man in the red jacket on the left, the watermark in the bottom-right corner, the white van parked behind the sign. If you leave Details empty on a preset, the model decides for itself which element you meant and can pick the wrong one. Details is required when you choose Custom Edit, because there is no preset instruction to fall back on.

Removals are hardest when the element is heavily occluded or moving fast, because the model has fewer clean frames of whatever sits behind it — expect to re-run those with a more specific description. It is also worth knowing that the model re-renders the clip rather than compositing onto your original footage, so the entire frame is regenerated at the resolution you chose. Fine texture and grain can shift slightly even in areas you did not ask to change, so start from the best-quality source you have.

Only edit footage you own or are licensed to use. A watermark is there to mark ownership, and stripping it off someone else's video gives you no right to use that video — the copyright is unchanged, and removing the mark can be an infringement in its own right. The same goes for the people in the frame: do not erase or alter someone's likeness in footage you have no rights to.
