Wan 3.0 Prime AI Video Generator

Wan 3.0 Prime is the accelerated tier of Alibaba's Wan 3.0 video model. Alibaba Cloud describes it as significantly faster while keeping high-quality output, and one model covers text-to-video, image-to-video with first and last frame control, and reference-to-video using images, videos and audio. Generate 2 to 30 second clips at 480p, 720p or 1080p in five aspect ratios with native synchronized audio, then rewrite footage with Video Edit or keep the story going with Video Extend. On Dreamega, Prime starts at 8 credits per second.

Wan 3.0 Prime Features

Everything the accelerated Wan 3.0 tier can do

  1. 01

    Accelerated Wan 3.0

Alibaba's Prime tier of Wan 3.0 generates significantly faster while keeping high-quality output, so you can iterate on shots and storyboards without long waits.

  2. 02

    Five Modes in One Model

Text-to-video, image-to-video, reference-to-video, video edit and video extend share one model and one set of controls, so a project moves between modes seamlessly.

  3. 03

Up to 30 Seconds per Clip

Render any whole-second length from 2 to 30 seconds in a single pass, long enough for a complete scene instead of stitching short fragments together.

  4. 04

    Native Synchronized Audio

Sound, ambience and dialogue are generated together with the picture by default. Switch audio off whenever you only need a silent clip for your own soundtrack.

  5. 05

    Multimodal References

Guide a shot with up to 10 reference images, 5 reference videos and 5 audio clips to keep characters, products, motion and voices consistent.

  6. 06

    First and Last Frame Control

Animate a still image from its first frame, or add an end frame so the clip lands exactly on the composition you planned.

  7. 07

    Edit and Extend Footage

Rewrite a clip of up to 15 seconds with a text instruction, or append a new 2 to 30 second segment that continues seamlessly from the last frame.

  8. 08

    480p to 1080p, Five Ratios

Choose 480p, 720p or 1080p and 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:3 or 3:4 framing for YouTube, Reels, TikTok, product pages and presentations.

How to Use Wan 3.0 Prime for Text-to-Video

Turn a written shot into a finished video with sound in three steps

  1. 01

    Write Your Shot

Describe the subject, action, camera movement and lighting, and put any spoken lines in quotes. Turn on prompt expansion when a complex scene needs more deliberate planning.

  2. 02

    Set the Format

Pick 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:3 or 3:4, choose 480p, 720p or 1080p, and slide the duration anywhere from 2 to 30 seconds. Leave audio on for sound with the picture.

  3. 03

    Generate and Continue

Generate from 8 credits per second, then keep going: extend the clip with Video Extend or restyle it with Video Edit, all on the same page.

Wan 3.0 Prime FAQ

Wan 3.0 Prime (wan3.0-video-prime) is the accelerated version of Alibaba's Wan 3.0 video model. Alibaba Cloud describes it as delivering significantly faster generation while maintaining high-quality output, with text, image, video and audio inputs handled by one model and 480p to 1080p output up to 30 seconds.
Prime keeps the same controls as Wan 3.0 (resolutions, 2 to 30 second durations, five aspect ratios, references, native audio, edit and extend) and is tuned for faster generation. Choose Prime when turnaround time matters, for example when testing many shot variations.
Generate video from a text prompt, animate a photo with optional first and last frames, build shots from reference images, videos and audio, rewrite existing footage with Video Edit, or lengthen a clip with Video Extend.
Prime costs 8 credits per second at 480p, 15 at 720p and 30 at 1080p, so a 5 second 720p clip is 75 credits. Reference videos also count their length (each at least 1 second, 15 seconds in total), Video Edit bills input plus output seconds, and Video Extend bills only the new segment. 1080p requires a Pro plan.
Text, image and reference generation produce 2 to 30 seconds in one pass. Video Edit accepts clips up to 15 seconds and returns the same length, while Video Extend adds 2 to 30 seconds to source videos of up to 120 seconds.
Yes. Native audio is on by default and is generated together with the picture; switch it off for silent clips. In reference mode you can add up to five audio clips to guide voices or music.
