Vidu Q4 Preview is ShengShu's newest Vidu video model, released on October 7, 2026. Animate a single image, or combine up to 12 reference images with up to 3 voice clips so characters, products and scenes stay consistent. Clips run 3 to 16 seconds with native synchronized audio, from 540p up to 4K, and the 2K and 4K tiers render in 10-bit color. At launch it ranked 3rd on Artificial Analysis' image-to-video leaderboard. On Dreamega it starts at 23 credits for a 5 second 540p clip.

Animate a single photo, illustration or product shot into a 3 to 16 second clip at 540p, 720p, 1080p, 2K or 4K, guided by an optional prompt for motion and camera.

Reference-Driven Scenes
Upload up to 12 reference images for characters, wardrobe, props, products and locations, then refer to them in the prompt so each element keeps its look across the shot.

Voice References
Add up to 3 audio clips as voice or sound references so a character keeps a steady voice, a feature ShengShu introduced with the Q4 Preview.

Native Synchronized Audio
Dialogue, ambience and effects are generated together with the picture in one pass. Switch audio off when you only need silent footage for your own edit.

10-bit Color at 2K and 4K
The 2K and 4K tiers render in 10-bit color, which leaves more room for grading and keeps gradients in skies and skin tones smooth.

Add a clear photo, illustration or product shot as the first frame. For multi-character scenes, switch to Reference to Video and upload up to 12 images and 3 voice clips.

Describe the Motion
Write what should move, how the camera travels and any spoken lines. The prompt is optional for image-to-video, and prompt expansion can enrich short instructions.

Pick Quality and Generate
Choose 540p to 4K and 3 to 16 seconds, keep audio on for sound, then generate. A 5 second 540p clip costs 23 credits.
