Not reliably. The option tells the model to drop the border and keep the background clean, but neither model is set up to output an alpha channel here, so you usually get the character on a plain white or light background. For a true cut-out, run the download through a background remover. The base style still asks for a sticker look, so a thin white outline can sneak in; regenerate or switch models if it does.

GPT Image 2.5 is the default. It costs 8 credits per sticker, returns a square image and usually draws the cleanest outlines and borders. Nano Banana 2.1 costs 4 credits and tends to keep more of the original outfit and hair details. New accounts get 10 free credits plus 2–6 from the daily check-in, which is enough to try both on the same photo and compare.

Light enlarges the head a little and keeps near-normal proportions, Medium (the default) is the classic big head on a small body, and Strong is almost all head. Every setting simplifies the face to dot eyes, blush and a small smile, so the likeness comes from your hairstyle, glasses, outfit and colors. For a more recognizable sticker, use Light and a photo where those details are clearly visible.

Pets work well. A cat or dog shot close up and facing the camera comes out as a chibi animal with the same fur colors and markings. The template is built for one character per sticker, though. With two or more people the model may merge them or draw one much smaller. Crop the photo to one person, make a sticker for each, and combine them afterwards if you want a set.

You can print them: download the image and send it to a sticker printer or cut it on a vinyl cutter. Thick White Border gives you a natural cut line. Outputs can generally be used commercially, but you need the rights to the photo you upload, and you are responsible for third-party IP such as brand logos, well-known characters or other people's faces that end up in the sticker.
