Mild only nudges proportions: slightly larger eyes, a softer cartoon finish, close to a stylized portrait. Moderate is the default and gives the classic caricature look with a bigger smile and stronger cheekbones. Strong pushes the head, eyes and grin much further, like a boardwalk artist sketch. For gifts to people who might be sensitive about their features, Mild or Moderate is the safer choice.

Most misses come from the photo. Use a JPG or PNG where the face fills a good part of the frame, faces the camera or is turned slightly, and isn't hidden by sunglasses, a mask or heavy beauty filters. Side profiles and tiny faces in wide shots lose likeness first. If the features look too distorted, drop to Mild, or switch to GPT Image 2.5, which holds identity better.

You upload one image. Couples and small groups often work, but each extra face gets less detail, so cropping to two or three people helps. Pets can be caricatured too, though results vary more than with human faces. You can generally use the output for cards, gifts or social posts.
